  1. Introduction

BlockVault (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our self-custody cryptocurrency wallet application handles your information.

  1. Information We Do NOT Collect

❌ We never collect or store your private keys

❌ We never have access to your funds or assets

❌ We do not require account registration or personal information

❌ We do not track your wallet addresses or transaction history on our servers

❌ We do not sell or share any data with third parties

  1. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All sensitive data is stored exclusively on your device:

Transaction history: Fetched directly from public blockchains, not stored on our servers

App preferences: Stored locally (language, theme, settings)

  1. Blockchain Interactions

When you use BlockVault to send or receive cryptocurrency:

Transactions are broadcast directly to public blockchain networks

Transaction data becomes part of the public blockchain ledger

We do not operate or control any blockchain networks

We do not have the ability to reverse, cancel, or modify any blockchain transaction

  1. Third-Party Services

BlockVault may interact with:

Public blockchain nodes: To fetch balances and broadcast transactions

Price APIs: To display asset valuations (no personal data shared)

These services receive only public blockchain addresses, never your private keys or personal information.

  1. Security

Your security is our priority:

Private keys are generated and stored only on your device

All sensitive data is encrypted using industry-standard encryption

We use hardware-backed security when available (Secure Enclave, Android Keystore)

We never transmit your private keys or recovery phrase over the internet

  1. Your Responsibilities

As a self-custody wallet user, you are responsible for:

Safely backing up your recovery phrase

Keeping your device secure
